Oh-San Wannabe

During this time everyone (including the Elders) wanted to be another Oh-san (referring to Japanese slugger Sadaharu Oh).  This photo was taken during a Zone Conference activity in Nagoya and shows Sumrall hitting a line drive to center field.  (Photo courtesy of Ted Sumrall)

We were having a zone conference in Okazaki and had an activity at one of the local Shinto Shrines.  One of the Elders had some Root Beer extract and someone was able to buy some dry ice and we made root beer to drink.  One of the MAs (Takagi Choro) threw the left over dry ice in this pool and shortly thereafter the shrine priest came out and was trying to figure out if this was some manifestation from one of their Kamisamas.
