About the artist

Solomon Kravetz is currently a Senior Art Major at the School for the Creative and Performing Arts (SCAPA) at Lafayette High School in Lexington, KY.  He will graduate in June 2007. 

Solomon's interest in art is illustration, which is the field he hopes to enter.  His personal Artist's Statement can be seen here. He also enjoys drawing action figures and is an avid fan of music, including classic rock, modern rock, classical, various other genres and even Johnny Cash.

Solomon is currently working on his Eagle Scout for the Boy Scouts of America, is active in his Church Youth Group and has participated in school drama productions and athletics throughout his high school career.  He is a four year Varsity Letterman in football (see his football page) and also lettered in wrestling his Sophomore year, where he placed third in region in his class and participated in the state tournament.
